Steve + Kelly

Steve and Kelly are getting married!  I used to work with Kelly and have known her for several years.  She has a daughter, Lexi, and I have watched her since she was a newborn.  Lexi is like one of my own children and even goes to school with my son.  Kelly announced a few months back that she was engaged to be married so we decided to take some fun engagement pictures along with Lexi's annual pictures.  I always love working with cute people, because it doesn't take much to make them look good!  Check out these HOT photos of this family to be....

Happy Fall!

I met this family last fall when I captured Kade and Addison.  At that session we discovered that we both enjoy taking our fourwheelers to the sand dunes in Oklahoma.  Since that session we have become friends and have traveled to the sand together a few times!  Meeting new people and making new friends is one of the many perks of this business!
This year Stephanie and Kale decided to get in the pictures and I am glad.  This was my first time shooting at this location in Leavenworth, KS and I really liked it!

Luke is moving on!

Luke is a senior at Bishop Ward and he also plays on their football team.  I find that guys are usually pretty shy and sometimes awkward when it comes to getting their picture taken.  Luke seemed a little shy at first, but it didn't last long.  His parents came along to witness all the teasing and goofy dances to get those natural smiles that everyone loves.  I have to say that Luke's dad was quite entertaining when he was shouting the football game score from the car!  The Slupski's seem to be a great family and I wish Luke all the best on his journey after highschool.

LOVE this train!

My son's room has always been decorated with trains!  We chose this theme when I was pregnant with him, because it can grow with him and has a special meaning behind it.  My grandfather, father, and father-in-law all retired from the railroad.  Growing up I heard all about the railroad!  When decorating Gavin's room, I chose things that didn't look to babyish so that he wouldn't outgrow it too quickly.  A friend told me about this old abandoned train which isn't far from my parents house and I am so happy that she did!  I took Gavin down there to check it out and snapped quite a few pictures of him.  He really wasn't feeling well that evening so I made the decision to get a different shirt for him to wear and take him back.  Well... I LOVE this train so much I ordered a large metal picture for his room and am SUPER excited for it to arrive!

This is the one I chose for his wall!  How cool is this going to be in his room?!

Adorable Children

I captured Chase's 1st Birthday cake smash in September and he really didn't like the camera experience.  Well.... we gave him a month to recover and this time he did AWESOME!  Charlie and Chase have to be two of the cutest kids with their curly blonde hair.  I am always telling their mother that they need to be GAP models or something.  We got together in Leavenworth, KS and captured the season!  We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful morning.

Kristina and Paul... you make adorable children... have another!

Fall is in the air!

The Davison family was a treat!  Amanda is a beautiful expecting mother.  Our daughters are in dance together and it has been really fun having her to be prego with!  She is due one week before me and she is having another little girl.  She dabbles in photography herself, so I felt honored that she chose me to capture her beautiful family this year.

These are a start to my busy FALL season!

Angel Alaina

Back in July I did maternity pictures of my cousin Katie.  She had her precious little angel and her name is Alaina!  I had a blast with her and the pictures speak for themselves on how much of a blessing she is!  Congrats Katie... I know you will be a great mommy!

Victoria makes me feel old!

This is Victoria!  She is a senior at Bishop Ward High School!  When I first met Victoria she was about 10 years old.  Now you know why this blog is titled the way that it is!  Time has flown by!!!!  I have watched her grow up into a very responsible and pretty young woman!  It is hard for me to believe that she is now graduating high school and applying to colleges!
For her senior session... she wanted to go downtown to the NEW performing arts building.  She has loved this building since it started being built and it made a neat backdrop for this outfit!

Bishop Ward is a neat school to photograph in front of.  The architecture of the building is FAB!  So we did a couple fun ones there!  Love the shirt she opted to wear "Have Faith In Me" since it is a catholic school!

One of her favorite shirts is her BATMAN shirt.  So, of course, we had to get some in that!  So we ventured out to an old barn.
Finally, she is a cheerleader!  Love this one because it shows her class ring as well as the blur of her uniform in the back!
Congrats Victoria!  Enjoy your senior year!  I am very proud of YOU!
