Family of 3!
I do a lot of mini sessions for Christmas cards at this time of year. This is my cousin Teresa's little family of 3! Usually when I capture their daughter Chloe, Teresa gets a little stressed because she tends to get acting a little goofy and most of the time she has to leave the room. LOL! I can usually surprise her with some of the results though. When Chloe gets goofy, she giggles and smiles a lot and likes to come up with her own poses. These moments make for some GREAT memories! Here is a great one of her "fun" personality showing through.
I always get the normal shots as well. :) It just takes patience.

Stressed Out Momma!
Here are two adorable children that I have captured numerous times. They belong to my hair stylist and during this shoot she was one stressed out momma. Not because the kids didn't want to cooperate or anything, but because she had a mishap in her home and the entire place flooded! Christmas time is the worst time of the year for something like this to happen. I have to hand it to her for getting the kids outfits together and still bringing them to get pictures taken for Christmas cards. I believe I would have skipped sending them out. lol Becky is a rockstar though and deals with whatever life hands her! Hopefully next time I capture these two cuties they won't be living out of a hotel.
Love how this one captures the true playfulness! Even with all they have been through recently. Love kids!

Rockin' Christmas
My sister in law wanted something a little different for their card this year. She said she really just didn't want the typical smiling picture, so we went with a couple of little rockers! I am sure this card was the topic of conversation when all of their family and friends opened it! We had a blast getting them ready for this shoot!

Mr. Silly
You will see this little cutie on a lot of my blog entries. He is the son of my assistant, Jennifer! Due to the fact that Jennifer and I are like sisters, our children are very close. Since he is like one of my own children, he can be a bit of a challenge at times to get pictures of. However, once you get him in his "silly" mode, he can't stop!

Christmas Cheer
I capture these children every year for their Christmas card pictures. The two little girls are sisters and the little boy is their cousin. I enjoy seeing them each year and working with them in the studio. We usually have a pretty good time getting the cute little smiles out of them. We started off with the dressy Christmas outfits, but then relaxed with some super cute pj pics!
As you can tell by this picture, there is never a dull moment! :)

Ready for the Holidays
The holiday season has started! I usually get a lot of requests for mini sessions for Christmas card pictures and this year (since I am expecting a baby soon) I decided to just take on what I can and not do a special mini session for this. Next year I have a fun idea in store! This family is the start to my busy holiday season. Enjoy!

Queen P's Family
If you follow my blog you already know that Queen P is my "Bestie" and every year I get to capture her beautiful family. She usually wants her pictures taken in the summer, but this year she opted for the fall. I am not really sure if she actually chose the fall or if life just got so busy that she finally came around to getting them taken in the fall. LOL! I know she is extremely busy with her business and life in general these days. We both actually are and we don't get to talk or hang out nearly as much as we used to, but when we get the time to catch up we pick up right where we left off! Love that girl!
Here is her oldest daughter with a sassy pose..... is this tree to die for or what?
I always love the family walk pictures!
High School sweethearts that are still in love after all these years.....
Here is her youngest daughter....... true personality right here! LOL

Mr. On the Go!
Meet Kaden! He is almost two and never stops going. I had fun chasing this little guy around while he explored the old buildings. At one time he even took off down the street to see a nearby passing train. He was on the Go go go! This age is fun because there is no posing and all the shots you capture are real moments and real smiles!
It is a challenge to make camera adjustments, chase the child, and get their attention at the same time, but I always enjoy looking at the outcome. It was a pleasure spending the morning with you, "Mr. On the Go!"
