I have taken Kelsey's pictures before along with her brothers, but this time she got me all to herself. She is the sweetest little thing and quite serious in front of the camera. She enjoyed climbing on the step stool as most kids her age do and loved playing with my daughters little purse! What a little cutie!

The great town of Emporia!
I traveled to Emporia, KS to do a huge family shoot. I took my cousin Jennifer with me as I do most of my shoots, because I need someone to keep me straight and help me with all the posing and keeping the children happy. I don't really know what I would do without her. Anyway.... back to Emporia. This is the family of one of my really good friends. We always tease her about coming from the "hick town" of Emporia, KS, but her sister asked me to travel there to capture their large family. I was honored to do so and realize that Emporia isn't just "hick town" and it does have some pretty good places to take photographs. LOL! Here are just a portion of the pictures that made the final cut.
It was a lot of work getting this many people together in one picture! What a FUN family they are!

Almost Finished!
I love to photograph women that are expecting. There is something about that big belly that captivates me! I think birth is such a miracle and although the trimesters of pregnancy seem like it lasts a long time (when you are the pregnant one), it really doesn't. So capturing it, so you can remember all the special moments of bonding with your child before they are even born, is amazing!
This couple has one little girl (totally adorable!) and now they are expecting a precious little boy!
Here are just a couple of my favorite shots of Charlie! I love her curly blond hair! She would make the cutest little model!
After pictures we went to the playground for a few moments of playtime and I captured this really sweet shot of Charlie swinging! She is so adorable!

Miege Senior!
I am proud to introduce the gorgeous Jessica! I had so much fun taking senior pictures of her and boy did I take a lot! It is hard to stop shooting when you have such a beautiful subject that the camera loves! We started off at Loose Park and ventured over to the Nelson! It was a beautiful evening and the lighting was perfect! This girl really should consider modeling!

Autumn Cuties!
Meet the adorable Kade and Addison! We met at the park when the leaves were just starting to turn and had a blast playing. I couldn't ask for better children. They cooperated with every shot and didn't complain at all! It was a real treat to capture these two cuties! I had a hard time choosing my favorites to sneak peek, but I think these do a pretty good job displaying the FUN we had on such a perfect morning! Enjoy!

Fun with Leaves!
Here is an adorable family! I had the privilege of meeting them at the wedding I captured back in May. I say privilege because the spirit of this family is so relaxed and inviting. Families like this remind me of why I started in this business. This particular morning was beautiful and we couldn't have asked for better weather. I have to give props to the mother though. Only about 10 minutes into taking pictures, the boys found the dog poo and got it all over their jeans! She stayed very calm and relaxed through the situation and decided to roll with it. Grandma cleaned them up as best she could and we continued the shoot. I think that is incredible, because most mothers would probably get frustrated and reschedule. It takes a lot of effort to get a family with three children ready for pictures, so I sympathize on how she must have felt. Despite the unfortunate event, I still captured some cute moments. As always, the little ones of this age can be very hard to capture. Take that and double it with TWINS! LOL!
First, there is Jackson - He is quite the adventurous boy and always on the move! He definitely gave his parents and I a workout! He is absolutely adorable and quite photogenic.
Then, there is Brooklyn - She is the serious type and much more calm. At first, she really wasn't too sure about the leaves. She loosened up and decided to sit in the leaves and play with the gourds. Love how the sun is streaming down on her in this photo.
Big Brother Landon - He was a very good little model. He kept asking mom if we were finished yet, but he hung in there and posed when the camera was on him. His skin is very pure and it shows in the closeup of his face!
Last, but not least, are the parents of these adorable children! Thank you for choosing me to capture your beautiful family!
