Larry + Tiffanie = married

I am just starting to "get my feet wet" in the wedding side of photography.  I am not quite sure that this is something that I want to focus on, but I want to have the ability to capture weddings and practice at getting better.  Larry and Tiffanie's wedding was only the second wedding that I have captured.  The ceremony and reception were held at the Mission Theater and it is extremely dark in there, so I was a little worried about the lighting.  I was very grateful that we were able to venture to a nearby park for some pre-wedding shots of the wedding party.  Unfortunately, it was raining after the ceremony and time didn't allow us to take photos of the bride and groom on location.  So, we improvised with only a couple shots in the entry of the theater.   I have included only a few shots from their special day and I am thankful that I was there to capture it!

Princess Sydney is 2!

Meet my niece Sydney!  She loves butterflies and being told how pretty she is, so we dressed her up like a princess and took her out for some fun pictures in her new butterfly shirt!  Here is just a few of my favorites from that morning!

Madisyn's 1st Birthday!

Little Miss Madisyn is full of smiles!  You really have to enjoy this age, because the simplest things make them happy.  Funny faces, silly voices, clapping hands, and other goofy things make a one year old light up and so easy to capture!  I took Madisyn to one of my favorite places to have a little tea party since she was wearing her special birthday dress!  Then, back to the studio for the fun cake destruction pictures!  She really wasn't sure about that cake, but ended up covering herself with it and found it quite YUMMY!

Cake from "Cakes by Jen" ~ find her on facebook!

Dylon is 4!

Meet my nephew Dylon.  He is quite the character and up until now.... has been pretty much impossible to capture on film.  This kid is full of energy and LOVES to run, so most pictures of him were of the back or side of his head. LOL!  He just celebrated his 4th birthday and is now ready to be a model.  Finally!!!!!  We did a few studio pictures of him just to test the waters and he did great!  So, I decided to have a little fun with my outdoors adventurous nephew and take him fishing!  I hope you enjoy these as much as I have enjoyed capturing and working on them!

Meet Parker!

I feel blessed to be able to capture the sweet innocence of a newborn.  This is Parker.  He is one week old and already a lady killer!

Owen is 2!

This little boy is very close to me and melts my heart every time he smiles.  He is a total crack up!  Although he appears to be super sweet in these photos for his 2nd year pictures...... he is VERY hard to capture.  He is simply on the GO GO GO!  Enjoy!

I took Owen's family out and about to capture some pictures as well!  We tried our hardest to get a family picture, but it was nearly impossible.  I did get a couple, but these are some of my favorites!
